While submitting your comments online you are requested to observe the following points:-

General Guidelines:

Write the exact Title of the Act and Section on which comments are being submitted.
Kindly take care to see not to repeat comments already made.
Kindly be brief and up to the point and, if possible, give your formulation of the amending portion.
If your comments pertain not to any Act but on a point of general interest, then, give a short title of the points which you are going to make.

Terms of Reference :-
On selecting this link, the "Bill References" Window pops up with a set of Menus displaying the 'Terms of Reference'.

Select the appropriate option For e.g. "To rectify defects in the existing Laws"

A new page is displayed where there are various options:-
1. View All Comments - Enables to view all comments published / registered / posted in the Web Site by users.
2. View By Bill - Enables to view comments on the basis of Bills on which comments are invited.
3. Search - Enables the users to search for any comments / bills published / registered / posted in the Web Site.
Post Your Comments here :-
1. On selecting this link, a new "Post your Comments Here" Window pops ups for
  the user to add comments on the existing "Terms of Reference selected" and
  they can choose to comment on either :-
  - An "EXISTING BILL"
    OR
  - Others - Comment on any other pre-existing / old / archived Acts / Rules etc. in existence.
2. All STAR fields marked as * in this form are MANDATORY namely, Name, Topic, Select a Bill, Comments, Image displayed
3. After pressing the "SUBMIT" Button the comments will be displayed on the screen.

  7. Select a Bill:- (MANDATORY FIELD - if "Others" selected)
    You can choose the Bill on which you would like to comment.
    However, In case you wish to Comment on any other pre-existing / old / archived Acts / Rules etc. then,
    Choose "Others"
    On selecting "Others", a text box 'Subject' appears for you to enter the Area of Comment
    For example;
    Your Comment is focussed on :-
    Which Act and or Under Which Section
    
    In case "Others" are chosen then, in the text box provided (Subject) the following are allowed:-
    Subject:- (MANDATORY FIELD)
    In this the following are allowed:-
    
    ALPHABETS
    
    NUMBERS
    FULL STOP (For example . )
    
    HYPHEN (For example - )
    
    Special Characters like ~ ' " " ( ) { } [ ] : ; / \ | ? _ ! # $ % ^ < > & * + etc. are NOT PERMITTED.
    Kindly Note:- Any comments can be posted with regard to any other Acts, Bills etc. which has already been passed.

    The Number of characters permitted is 1500.
    However, in case, you wish to continue the current topic, then,
    kindly post a FRESH NEW COMMENT choosing the option "Post your Comments"

Regarding Viewing & Searching Comments :-
1. View All Comments
  Choosing this Radio Button you will be able to view all available comments posted by various people - Based on the Terms of Reference selected.
2. View By Bill
  A drop down menu is displayed for you to choose any particular Bill of your choice or Other Archives.
  Choosing the View By Bill option enbles you to view the Comments posted on a particular selected Bill.
  
  Bill Details Button
  This Button appears on selecting a particular Bill. Choosing this you will be able to see the full details regarding the selected Bill.
  
  Other Archives
  Any comments posted with regard to any other Acts, Bills etc. which has already been passed is displayed here.
3. Search
  One can search any data posted in the Web Site using this option.
  If any particular topic is to be searched it can be provided in Double Quotes.
  For e.g.. "XYZ Reforms Act, Section II"
  In case you do not add Double Quotes to the typed content then, it will search for all words provided in the text area separately.
