The Law Reforms has been a continuing Process in the State of Kerala since its formation. Setting up of a Law Reforms Committee was the last in this direction.
His Excellency, the Governor of Kerala in his address to the Legislative Assembly on 16^th June 2006 has announced that the Government proposes to undertake law reforms as a high priority item on the agenda of the Government. Detailed discussions were held with eminent persons in this regard. Constitution of law Reforms Commission for the State of Kerala is a felt necessity.
In the circumstances, Government are pleased to constitute a Law Reforms Commission for the State as per the following composition.

2.	Mr. Justice T. V. Ramakrishnan	- Vice Chairman
3.	Mr. Justice C. S . Rajan	- Member
